At Zaiss Home Services & Technology LLC (“Company,” “we,” or “us”), we strive to provide high-quality workmanship, clear communication, and reliable service.
Because our work includes both labor-based services and custom-created products, our refund guidelines differ depending on the service type.

Please read this Refund Policy carefully.

1. General Policy Overview

Refunds may be issued in specific circumstances outlined below.
However, because many of our services involve labor, time, materials, or custom-made deliverables, not all services are refundable.

2. Refunds for Handyman, Repairs & Installation Services

These include:
• Home repairs
• Drywall patches
• Door adjustments
• Fixture replacement
• Installations (TV, faucet, lighting, smart devices, etc.)
• Renovations & updates
• Tech services (home networking, WiFi, cameras)

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only when:

  • The work was not completed as agreed in the written estimate or service discussion

  • There is a workmanship issue verified by the Company

  • The service was canceled before any labor or materials were used

Non-Refundable

Refunds are not available when:

  • Work was completed and the customer changes their mind

  • A problem is caused by pre-existing home conditions (structural, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

  • Devices or parts installed fail due to manufacturer defects (manufacturer warranty applies)

  • Customer provided incorrect information that affected the job

  • Customer interfered with, modified, or misused the installed work

Service Guarantee

We will return and correct issues related to workmanship at no additional labor cost, if reported within 7 days.

3. Refunds for CAD / Blueprint / Documentation Services

These include:
• As-built drawings
• CAD modeling
• Home layout maps
• Measurement-based documentation
• Digital files and PDFs

​

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued only if:

  • Work has not yet begun, AND no measurements, site visits, or modeling work has been performed.

Non-Refundable

Because these services are digital and custom-created, they are non-refundable once work has started.

This includes:

  • Measurements taken

  • CAD work begun

  • Drafts delivered

  • Final drawings delivered

Revisions are included within the scope discussed at the time of service.

4. Refunds for 3D Printing & Custom Fabrication

These include:
• Custom printed parts
• Replacement clips, mounts, brackets
• Custom-designed items
• Fabricated pieces for repairs or projects

​

Non-Refundable

All 3D printing and custom fabrication work is non-refundable due to:

  • Material costs

  • Machine time

  • Custom work designed specifically for your needs

If there is an issue with quality or fit, we will:

  • Reprint or revise the part

  • Make adjustments based on updated measurements

  • Provide one round of correction at no additional charge

Refunds are not issued for incorrect specifications provided by the customer.

5. Deposits

Certain services may require deposits for:

  • Materials

  • Custom fabrication

  • CAD work

  • Large repair or renovation projects

Deposits are non-refundable once materials are purchased or work has begun.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule if you contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a late cancellation fee.

7. How to Request a Refund or Correction

  • Your name

  • Service date

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)

  • Your requested resolution

We respond within 2 business days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time.
Changes will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date.
